2025 Multidisciplinary Thyroid Cancer Symposium
VIRTUAL SYMPOSIUM
Saturday, March 22, 2025
Where leading experts will join forces to bring thyroid cancer treatment advances to the forefront.
Practicing physicians are busy and have little time to keep up with new advances. Dissemination of new information and guidelines may take a long time to reach the providers, especially those practicing in the community. They need an efficient and convenient mechanism to learn and update their knowledge base.
Management of thyroid cancer has progressed rapidly in the past few years and new guidelines have been published this year. This symposium will update the attendees' knowledge base and will help physicians and surgeons better utilize these resources.
Symposium Highlights:
- Updates on new guidelines for thyroid cancer
- Multidisciplinary approaches for thyroid cancer treatment
- Case discussions and interactive Q&A sessions
Target Audience
Endocrinologists, head and neck surgeons, medical oncologists, nuclear medicine specialists and all other allied health care professionals interested in the subject matter.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss the latest information and approaches regarding thyroid cancer diagnosis, surgical techniques, and medical therapies.
- Outline current thyroid cancer management guidelines from professional associations.
- Integrate and utilize resources to improve thyroid cancer care.
- Assess emerging technologies for thyroid tumor management.
- Discuss possible barriers and biases which may impact patient care (i.e., race, ethnicity, language, gender identity/orientation, age, socioeconomic status, attitudes, feelings, or other characteristics).
