#MoreCuresLessInvasive

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Leading-edge Research in the Field of Robotic Surgery and Technological Innovations
  • Advancements in AI, Automation and Remote Surgery
  • Trainee Exposure and Development
  • Networking Opportunities among Clinicians, Investigators and Scientists across Institutions and Geographical Borders

There is rapid advancement in surgical innovation including robotic and artificial intelligence technology to improve surgical procedures and patient outcomes. Integration of such technology into our practice can provide minimally invasive surgical outcome benefits to patients as well as provide increased efficiency of our practices.  This requires that surgeons gain improved understanding of the current technological advances, methods of adoption of the robotic approaches to practice and address the challenges of integrating new technology into daily surgical practice.  Majority of surgery performed worldwide remains open approach, while robotic surgery is continuing to emerge and evolve.  Mastery of robotic procedures requires additional training and experience.

The Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (CRSA) meeting provides education, insight and networking opportunities for robotic surgeons around the the world.  Innovative surgical techniques are emerging very rapidly with new technological advancements that facilitate minimally invasive surgery and telerobotic operations.  Adoption, application in practice and critical evaluation of emerging techniques and their impact on patient outcomes need to be shared with the surgical community.

Target Audience

This educational program is directed toward surgeons, residents, fellows, and all other allied healthcare professionals interested in the subject matter.

Learning Objectives

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the indications for robotic surgery.
