Key Updates in Bladder Cancer - Enduring

A formalized platform does not exist for clinicians to share clinical trial portfolios among individuals at different institutions. In addition, there is no systematic means for updating providers regarding advances in genitourinary cancers and no established forum for providers with interests in genitourinary cancers to meet. There is a critical lack of knowledge of what clinical trials are available to patients in the Los Angeles area and is rapidly changing treatment options for patients with genitourinary cancers. It is challenging to keep pace with these developments. There are many providers who focus on genitourinary cancers in the Los Angeles area - relatively few know and interact with one another and practice multidisciplinary care optimally.

Target Audience

Medical oncologists, urologists, radiation oncologists with interests in bladder cancer and all other allied health care professionals interested in the subject matter.

Learning Objectives

  • Define clinical trial opportunities for patients with bladder cancer in the Southern California region.
  • Demonstrate understanding of best clinical practices for systemic therapy for bladder cancer.
  • Outline best clinical practices for bladder cancer in radiation and surgery.
