Leukemia Classification in the Era of Cancer Genomics - Enduring

Advances in genomic technologies have led to the recognition of the clonal nature of leukemia.  The diversity and significance of these clones, however, are not yet clear.  While they likely have clinical implications, we are still learning more about this phenomenon.  The purpose of this lecture is to inform pediatric leukemia providers of the clonal diversity of precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), by a leading expert in the field.

Target Audience

City of Hope Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physicians, Advance Practice Practitioners, City of Hope staff and research teams.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss clonal nature of pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
  • Identify opportunities for translational collaboration between clinical and research specialists.
  • Integrate therapeutic interventions for those with clones that have clinical significance.
